i bought frontline plus for flea control….?

and my dog still has fleas!Well first she got a flea dip at the groomers and then i bought some frontline plus and applied it to her that day and its been about a week later and i still see flea dirt and actual fleas.theres not that much but still! I dont know what I should do.help please.

man that really sucks.i didnt know that you had to wait to apply it….ugh i didnt see that on the box..anyways,yea im going to get a fogger for the house and some flea stuff for the carpet that you just vacum up.everyones been really helpful! thanks

Would I be an irresponsible bird parent if…

Would I be an irresponsible bird parent if circumstances forced me to give up my amazon parrot for adoption? I love her to death! She has been the first and foremost priority in my life throughout all the time I have had her, but lately my whole non-bird-loving family has been complaining about her unbearable (for them) noise and mess. My mother and I consistently fight because she comes up to my bird and hits her every time she starts squawking. Her insistent screaming is also driving away prospective tenants, who bring us the money we need to pay the bills, mortgage, and feed ourselves every month. They keep nagging me about giving her up to another home, but I can’t do that! She has already been passed around so much, I would feel like I was just like her previous owners who couldn’t live up to owning a bird. Also, in a few years, I will have to go off to college and I do not know where she would go. All of the methods of screaming control that I have heard from other bird people do not seem to even make a difference with my amazon. There has to be an option other than giving her up! The agony and guilt of having lost her will haunt me forever. I mean, just because your child misbehaves doesn’t mean you need to give her up for adoption, right? I love my amazon so much and am tearing up just thinking about parting with her…
I’m sorry, I am not simply accepting the fact that someone is hitting my bird. I would not allow for someone to abuse my bird. You missed the part where I stated that my mother and I FIGHT, because she does that to my bird. I shield my bird with my body, physically restrain my mother, shove her away, i would even strike her back if i needed to. do i need to say more? Please understand my situation. I am trying my best to protect my baby, and all you are doing is antagonizing me.
I had explained clearly to my family what the details of keeping a bird would be. They agreed, and it’s not my fault that they suddenly decided not to be able to tolerate her anymore. You shut yer trap, INTUITIVECHICK. You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. I have devoted my whole life to this bird. all these years i sacrificed going out with my friends or going on vacation so that i could stay at home and care for her. I got a job on top of going to school even when it meant htat i would have to get 3 hours of sleep a night so that i could save up for her vet bills and buy her toys and food. You just enjoy making people feel like crap, you’re no help at all. You’ve never helped anyone in your life. No body needs or wants your opinion. So just do me a favor and disappear. ok?

How to get rid of Mice?

I have been putting mouse traps down now for about two weeks. So far I have caught four, but there are more still in the house. The past few days I have not caught anything in the traps, but I know there are still more there. Any ideas on how to get rid of them. Also is there anything I can do to prevent them from coming into the home. We are renting an older home with a basement, so I don’t want to put a lot of money into the home as we will only be here another three months. I just can not stand to have mice running through my home.

Our kitchen is bombarded with the cockroaches of the smaller variety (about 1 cm). Pls suggest pest control agency?

How long will a snake grow to be if shed skin is 5 feet long?!?

I found a perfectly intact snake skin in my back yard yesterday that is easily 5 feet long! I’m guessing it’s some sort of large black snake (we’re in Maryland). I’ll be glad to have its help in keeping mouse population under control, but I am a little nervous about running into such a large one unexpectedly in gardening or other outdoor activities. Would he try to get into my basement?? How big is this guy going to get?

Is the owner / management 's work to get rid of pests in Colorado?

I just moved into an apartment in Denver / Glendale less a week. I signed six-month lease. The lease does not cover pest control. This is what I spent: 25 + dead cockroaches in my first three days here. My apartment was treated Thursday, but I found and killed nine later that night. I have insect bites out of bed in the leg, arm, chest, and even the face. management tried to say that I brought these with me, but I had to find the cockroaches to see what even looked like. I've never had bedbugs. I do not feel comfortable living here remotely, and to speak to management / other tenants is an ongoing problem that will not be fixed. When it was showing the apartment was during the day, and they said there were "some mistakes from time to time", not pests. I realize I should have asked, but I have no experience with this. Is this considered a violation of the lease? If not, how out of my contract and not pay the fees?

I would call the board Health for setting things right. I would not be too concerned about maintaining a long term relationship with the owner to call the big boys. This insurance is a violation.pp health
