This is done to try and ensure that future generations exist. These refuges allow my grandchildren (and will allow my great grandchildren, etc.) to know first hand the beauty, thrill, and pleasure of seeing such wildlife. Until you've actually witnessed such magnificent wildlife firsthand, you may not know how important it is to have these wildlife preserves. If you can't travel to witness it firsthand, then I implore you to please research "wildlife refuges" and see what they're about. I'm not allowed to list the organizations I am a member of which assist in ensuring the conservation of these refuges and work so diligently daily, year after year, to ensure future generation will exist.
